Hong Kong – 26-year-old Liu Yue Teng attacked four women in Sham Shui Po in 2019, he did so hoping that he will receive the death penalty.
He pleaded guilty to four counts of attempted murder on Wednesday (May 4).

Liu entered a hostel located in Sham Shui Po and brought a knife with him to a nearby open area where four women were exercising.
He stabbed a 57-year-old woman in the neck and the three other women ran away. Liu gave chase and stabbed two more women in the neck who are also in their 50s.
The fourth woman was stabbed in her left chest and slashed at her neck and shoulder areas.
Confession
Soon after his arrest, he said that he was guilty and wants to receive the death penalty.
Knowing that Hong Kong does not have a death sentence, he returned to China and confess to his crimes to the Police.
However, the jurisdiction was different and the China Police could not arrest him immediately. Liu returned once again to Hong Kong hoping to receive his sentencing.
