A PRC woman surnamed Zhong visited Vietnam on 23 July 2016. While entering the custom at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, the Vietnamese custom officer asked Zhong to hand in her passport.

The custom officer kept her passport for around three minutes and after she got it back she saw the ‘F word’ was scribbled on two pages.

Zhong said she did not speak or give a response to the insult written on her passport as she does not speak Vietnamese.
