PRC WOMAN OVERSTAY IN SG FOR 7 YEARS, TRIED ESCAPE BUT FALLS TO DEATH

A PRC woman staying in Singapore since 2013 tried to escape from the law by climbing her room window.

41-year-old Gong Xiu Xian worked in Singapore from her home as a masseuse and her visa only allowed her to stay for 30 days. Somehow she managed to be hidden for so long.

The unfortunate incident happened in November 2020.

During the riad, ICA offices visited her home on the 4th floor of a unit located along Eunos Crescent.

The raid happened at around 5.15AM, an officer was deployed downstairs to track her movements in her room. Gong had locked the doors to her room after the officers entered the unit.

Initially, Gong wanted to hide at the aircon compressor but she felt out the window, she was pronounced dead at 6.40AM
