A 33-year-old Chinese national, Sun Min Qian, pleaded guilty to a charge under the Covid-19 (Temporary Measures) Act and was subsequently fined $3,000 on 26 January.
She had gathered in an office to celebrate Chinese New Year with 14 other people on 25 February last year and created so much noise that the police were then alerted.
Eleven other partygoers have since been dealt with by the law earlier, they are namely:

What happened?
Chua Li Jin was having a dinner with Low Xiang Hua and Ethan Tan on 24 February when he suggested having a Chinese New Year gathering.
Chua then got in touch with Ong Hui Siong, who suggested having the gathering at their office at Pemimpin Drive.
The guests then arrived and drank alcohol, sang karaoke and played some games, causing a disturbance and a witness later informed the police about it.
Police officers then arrived at about 2.20am on 25 February and loud music was heard emanating from the office.
The officers knocked on the door and the fun then stopped after Ong opened the door.
