PUBLIC DONATIONS “MINIMUM $10” HARASSING PEOPLE IN BEDOK

When the pandemic hit the country, public fundraising was suspended. But in recent days members of the public reported that these people are back.

According to Zao Bao, a woman told Shin Min that she saw 5 people in Bedok Centre walking around and asking people to make donations and was surprised to see these people back collecting donations.

They claimed that they are collecting donations to buy food for nursing homes and the minimum donation was $10

No Permits No Documents

The woman witness another person giving them $10 and they also approached her to collect donations but when she asked why they did not show any documents/permits the man walked away.

They open asked for donations from older people, Shin Min reported
