The police have arrested a 20 year old Singaporean man in connection with the muder which took place at Punggol Field.

According to the police, preliminary investigations revealed that the accused did not know the victim.
The incident which happened on May 11 led to the death of a 38 year old man. On May 16, the police identified the murderer and he was arrested at 2.45m after intensive investigations which included ground enquiries and reviews of various CCTV footage.
The man will be charged in court tomorrow for murder, which carries the death penalty. The man is currently being remanded at the Institute of Mental Health.
