Residents of Punggol Waterway Terraces have been worried for a period of time after looking at a crack on the exterior wall of the wall. Many were worried that it would give way and endanger lives.
Pasir Ris-Punggol Town Council and the Housing Development Board has stated there is no issue with the safety of the building after carrying out an inspection at Block 310A Punggol Waterway Terraces II.
Many other residents have stated their disappointment in the poor workmanship as many have observed of many defects that have appeared since the 5 years that they have moved in. Residents have been complaining of cracks in their flats and ceilings.
One woman also stated that there were close to 60 defects even before she moved in which took over a year to rectify.
