A netizen took to Facebook to share how she bought an allegedly fake “Wou Wou” beauty product.

She wrote that she bought the bottle of what appears to be a bottle of shampoo, from a push cart at Bugis Plus.

Upon scanning the QR code on the bottle, she was led to a WeChat page instead of the “product contents” page.

She then checked with a local distributor who then duly told her that the item she bought was counterfeit, and that the real product has an authenticity sticker on the box.
