
Facebook user Tham Li Yan took to Facebook to voice out on his unhappy experience in purchasing Ramly burgers from a seller. He purchased $40 worth of burgers and cheese fries but the seller gave him a million reasons to avoid refunding the money back. The seller gave reasons such as machine faulty, kitchen power failure, no delivery guy and his business partner ran off with the company funds.
It is believed that there are other people who were affected as well and this ramly seller even told them they arranging for his father’s funeral.

I would like to share my experience with Famous Pasar Malam Ramly Burger.
On 15 July, I happened to come across @famousramlyburger Facebook page, with all the customer reviews on their page, it looks very legitimate.Therefore, I placed an order for delivery on the following day on 16 Jul (5-6pm) and made the payment via paynow to the seller.

On 16 July, which is the day of delivery at around 3pm, @famousramlyburger informed me that they are unable to deliver the orders due to machine faulty and subsequently main power supply socket burnt which led to whole kitchen power failure etc. They apologised and informed me that they will reschedule the order to next day which is on 17 July. I understand that sometimes accident do happened and as such I decided to give benefit of doubt and agreed to have for it to be delivered on the following day which is on the 17 July.

On the 17 July, there wasn’t any update from @famousramlyburger way pass the delivery timeframe (5-6pm).I had to check with them the status of the order. This time round they claimed that my order was missed out as my order was a rescheduled order and that point of time they do not have anymore manpower to send the delivery to me.
At this point of time, I really think that the reason given is absurd. Firstly, they said their kitchen was down and unable to delivery, and the following day they missed out due to my order is a rescheduled order, which make me feel that my order is the only order that is rescheduled for them to miss out.
@famousramlyburger then suggested to schedule my order again without delay on the next day which is on 18 July. Of course, I dismissed the suggestion and requested for refund. Can you imagine the amount of frustration and disappointment as I ordered for my family as our dinner, and again and again we did not receive our food.
@famousramlyburger agreed for to make a refund to me and subsequently there is no refund nor update from them from 18 July to 23 July.
On 23 July, @famousramlyburger apologise and update that there is some internal issues where their family business partner fled with the funds and their business has to be shut down entirely. They request to have the refund settle by end of the month which is 31 July and also hope that I will not aggravate this matter by posting on Facebook or making police report.

On 25 July, to further prove what the @famousramlyburger said was the truth. I managed to get a “potential customer” to enquire with @famousramlyburger and received a response that they are still taking orders. This don’t even make sense, on 23 July they informed me that their business is shut down and 2 days after which is on the 25 July they are still accepting orders? With the screenshot, I confront the seller and the response was they are are still accepting small orders. I clearly do not understand what does small order means, I have placed an $40 worth of order, this order clearly wasn’t any huge order either. Also, I have given them a alternative to split my “big” order to “small” order to fulfill instead but they failed to do so as well.
At this point of time, there is clearly so many red flags from @famousramlyburger, taking in orders that they are not able to fulfill and not making any refunds.
Throughout this entire incident I have been trying to be really understanding, giving them the benefit of doubt again and again, even so no refund is made, neither any reply from @famourramlyburger.
As of today which is the 1st August, I still didn’t received any refund nor reply from @famousramlyburger.
As much as I would like to settle this issue amicably, @famousramlyburger has yet again abuse my trust again and again.
I would like everyone to share this post to create more awareness and patronize at your own risk.
