A netizen, Jamie Lee, shared on Facebook about how she allegedly saw rats running up and down inside the kitchen area of a Mookata stall at Boon Lay Shopping Centre.
Lee wrote in her Facebook post that she was consuming food halfway when the rats ran out of the stall and towards her direction.

Environmental Public Health Act
All licensees and their food handlers have a responsibility to ensure the food sold to the public is clean and wholesome. They must observe good personal and food hygiene at all times.
Under Section 99 of the Environmental Public Health Act, a licence may be suspended or cancelled if a licensee violates the Act or the Regulations made there under.
SFA will not hesitate to take firm action against anyone found to be in violation of the Environmental Public Health Act.
