RECALLED INFANT MILK WAS USED IN LOCAL HOSPITALS
According to local reports, a batch of Dumex Mamil Gold infant milk formula was recalled by authorities as bacteria was found in the powder. It was already too late when the announcement for the recall was made. The recalled infant milk formula was found to be in used at local KK woman & Children’s Hospital & National University Hospital.
According to a statement published by MOH, it states that infants below six months old who were in the hospital between 1st to 20th August might have been given the recalled milk.
“According to local reports, a batch of Dumex Mamil Gold infant milk formula was recalled by authorities as bacteria was found in the powder.”
According to the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA), Cronobacter sakazakii bacteria was found in the product.
