RENT CAR TO WORK PRIVATE HIRE. END UP DONT PAY WAIT LEGAL ACTION

To other rental companies, please beware of this guy.

This guy here by the name of Chua Zhi Hui was recommeded by his friend(one of our long term regular customer) to rent a vehicle from us for private hire work commitment.
Although Chua Zhi Hui was delaying his rental payment only after a few weeks he took the vehicle from us. We decided to let him delay 1-2 days for his weekly rental payment while still having the vehicle as we doesn’t want to put his friend (our regular customer) at a difficult spot and we know that Chua ZHi Hui is in need for this vehicle for incomes.

But after a few times of leniency, this guy Chua Zhi Hui started to take things for granted by coming out with lots of excuses and reasons thinking that we are very gullible.

We wanted to terminate the contract immediately and retrieve our vehicle from him but the friend of his came to look for us and tried to speak up for him. Asking for a chance to let him talk to Chua Zhi Hui. We decided to let him do so as this regular customer of ours is a very responsible person.

It was only after a few days later, without any choices our regular customer called and let us know that he give up on helping Chua Zhi Hui, asking us to ‘Do what you need to do’.
We retrieve back our vehicle and gave him a chance out of goodwill to repay his payments at a later date. But up till today after our numerous reminder, he decided to give us ‘excuses’ again. We got no choice but to proceed with legal actions.

Chua Zhi Hui despite being a irresponsible person is lucky enough to meet a friend like this but he doesn’t know how to cherish. Hope that he will get his lesson learnt this time round.
