Unfortunately, he found the dead bodies of his own family members.

The Angkatan Pertahanan Awam Negeri Selangor shared Chin’s heartbreaking story on their Facebook page on 22 December.

Chin had recalled being shocked by the news of the landslide, and was horrified to find out that his relatives from Melaka were at the site at the time of the tragedy.

Being an emergency resucer, Chin requested to join the rescue team to aid the rescue operations, and at the time, not many victims had been found yet.
