A Braddell View resident, Caleb Tay, took to Facebook to share how he woke up in the morning and found a ” fat, tattooed Indian (stranger), seemingly in his 20s (and topless)” inside his home and barging into his room.
The incident happened earlier today (27 May), Tay’s parents were asleep inside their room when he was woken up by a loud noise from outside.
A topless man then barged into his room unannounced, going to one side of his room to open a window.
Bewildered and confused, Tay then shouted at the ma, demanding to know who he was and what he was doing in his house.
The man didn’t say anything.
The topless man then slowly strolled out of his room while Tay was shouting at him and eventually walked out of the house.
Tay then went to other apartment units trying to find the man but couldn’t, so he went to the security office and saw 2 police officers, who then told him that they were here regarding reports about a break in.
The topless man was detained in another housing unit, and 10 police officers then came, armed with shields.
Tay said that thankfully his parents are not hurt in the incident.
The police have since confirmed that a 32-year-old man was arrested for criminal trespass and suspected drug-related offences.
At the time of writing, investigations are ongoing.
