RESTAURANT WITH THAI GIRLS SHUT DOWN FOR FLOUTING COVID-19 RULES

According to a media release, A bar located at Science Park Drive and two restaurants have been ordered to shut down by the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) after they are found flouting safe management measures.

S-Tripes Hotpot, a restaurant located in Havelock road will be closed for 02 Sep to 11 Sep 2020. They are also caught for selling alcoholic drinks after 10.30 pm. The staff will serve alcohol beverage that was stored in a teapot as a disguised.

The restaurant was fined $2,000 for violating the rules.

More than 10 Thai girls working

Whimsical Bar located at 2 Science park, on the other hand, has been ordered to close with immediate effect after customers were seen drinking after 10.30 pm. Customers were seen sitting in-group more than 5 people. They were only be allowed to re-open once their licences are obtained.

According to patrons at the restaurant, there are typically over 10 Thai national girls who are working in the restaurant and serving the customers.

It is believed that many of them are working in restaurants as many Thai clubs in Singapore are not allowed to operate.

Create Kitchen, another restaurant that violated the same measures was ordered to close from 2 Sep to 11 Sep 2020. The restaurant was fined $2,000 for violating the rules.
