Dear Grab,
I would love lodging a complaint against a driver, details as per below
Name: Yvonne
Car Number: SJS-55XXU
Booking ID: IOS-2154598-3-299
Time: 03:40AM
Trip Cost: SGD$20
Incident Place: Tampines Mart (Taxi Stand near ATM)
Before boarding into the driver vehicle, I had told her I need to send a friend off at Noble Hotel and then head down to Tampines as per exactly the same location of pick-up/drop off point in Grab app booking and I told her that “I have a $10 with me and I need to withdrawn some cash at Tampines Mart whereby there’s an ATM along the way to my destination.I told her to please drop me at the taxi stand and give me a few seconds to get the money”
Before I wanna drop off her vehicle, I pass the $10 note from my pocket.
I was held back by her and she insists to hold on to my phone afraid I might just run off for that balance of $10 -.-
So I let her hold on to my phone and I went to get the money then.
I feedback to your driver that “She shouldn’t have held on to my phone because it’s quite offending to some people especially to me and my contacts are too important to me due to my job”
Your driver started to scream and yell at me, this is extremely bad to do against to any passenger.
I would love to say I’m one of that most easy-going person, so since I’m facing with an issue with this driver and I believe there are numerous of innocent passenger like me gonna face problem with this driver.
I am really happy to share with Grab management the recorded clip and I don’t really think there’s any need for me publishing those video out in the social media.
Most importantly, do you think that is it necessary for me to run disappear for my life without paying that small amount of $10? Com’on! This is Singapore, my phone number, as well as email address and identity, was registered with Grab.
There’s no way people can escape guilty in Singapore!
I wish to receive a follow-up case by the management of Grab and a sincere apology from Grab and the driver.
