ROBBERS ATTACK MALAYSIA CUSTOM TO TAKE BACK DRUGS WORTH $10.2 MILLION

10 men armed with sticks pulled off a heist at Malaysia Customs Department’s Narcotics Unit in Kampung Jijan yesterday to recover drugs that were previously seized

The 10 men drove in two vehicles and attacked the guards on duty with wooden sticks and tied them up.

It is believed that after immobilizing the guards, the robbers proceeded to a container and remove boxes believed to contain drugs worth around RM380,000 each.

The boxes taken are worth as estimate of about S$10.2 million.
