Singapore News: According to a media release by the Central Narcotics Bureau a man was arrested at a void deck located at Woodlands, after his arrest, he was escorted to his flat and 1.58kg of Heroin and other drugs were found.
According to CNB, the raid was conducted on the evening of 11 December 2019, CNB said an officer spotted the 48-year-old Singaporean leaving his unit on the second floor of an HDB in the vicinity of Woodlands Street 13. A raid on his unit was conducted following his arrest, a large amount of heroin was discovered in the unit along with a bottle of methadone. Cash worth S$11,000 was also seized by the officers.
CNB stated that 1.58kg of heroin is enough to feed the addiction of about 754 abusers for a week.

Another 42-year-old woman also found and arrested at the unit.
An investigation is ongoing.
