SAFETY AMBASSADOR PUNCHED BY MAN AT BEDOK MALL & REFUSED TO WEAR MASK

There are still people out there that refuse to oblige with the law and think that they are above it. The Police has released a statement of recent encounters of enforcement officers getting abused.

According to a Police media release, the Police were called to attend to an assualt case on May 31 after a 47-year-old man had a dispute with the safe distancing ambassdor.

The safe distancing ambassdor told the man to put on a mask but the man refused to do so.

The safe distancing officer wanted to use his phone to capture evidence but he was punched in the stomach by the man.

Outram (Teo Heng Road)

On June 21, a 33-year-old man displayed a similar attitude after he was told by a safe distancing ambassador to put on a mask. The man refused to do so and got into a scuffle with the safe distancing ambassador.

The incident happened along Teo Heng Road

During the dispute, he hurl vulgarities at the ambassador and even pushed the ambassador twice to the ground.

Kallang Road

On June 21, a 40-year-old man was told by an ICA officer to put on his mask propoerly but the man pulled down his mask and started hurling vulgarities at the ICA officer.

Albert Centre Market and Food Centre.

On June 26, A 40-year-old was told by a social distancing enforcement officer to pull up his mask and told him to wear it properly.

The 40-year-old ignore the officer and walk off. The officer followed the man and told him again that he needs to put on his mask properly. The man did not comply and the officer received nothing but vulgarities from the man.
