
According to the latest media release, Singapore will be deploying officers to HDB estates to enforce safe distancing.
From today, officers will be seen to discourage gatherings in public and loitering, they will also be ensuring that no one will be consuming or eating in eating places.
Breaching safe-distancing rules may be jailed up to six months and/or fined up to S$10,000.
” Members of public are to comply with the elevated safe distancing measures in the common property of public and private housing estates, parks and other shared spaces. Non-compliance is an offence. Enforcement officers from the Agencies will be conducting compliance inspections and stern actions will be taken against any member of public found in breach of safe distancing measures. “
