A married Singaporean man, 41, was sentenced to 28 weeks jail and a $6,000 fine after he uploaded screenshots of videos he secretly recorded of his wife, church members, family members and friends. He would upload these screenshots together with a s*xual story of each victim.
He upload these pictures as he wanted to gain acceptance with the Sammyboy forum community. His voyeuristic acts started from the year 2008 where he filmed his wife, sister-in-law, fellow church members, mentor and family friends showering. Another reason for his actions was because he felt that the church community were hypocrites.
When he was arrested, a total of three external hard drives and five micro SD cards were seized which contained the nude photos and videos of his victims.
For each charge of insulting a woman’s modesty, he could have been jailed up to a year, fined or both.
