SCAMMERS ARE SENDING FAKE EMAILS WITH ISTANA ADDRESS, CLAIMING TO BE PM LEE

Singapore Prime Miniter Lee Hsien Loong shared on a Facebook update that he was alerted to fake emails from scammers claiming to be him, circulating online.

Describing the scammers are relentless, he said that the content of the email varies, and shared a photo of one such email thanking the recipient for contributing to Singapore.

He urged people to ignore the fake email and not to forward it to their friends and family.

I was alerted that fake emails purportedly from me are circulating online again.

The content of the email varies – the example here thanks the recipient for their contributions to Singapore. The scammers are relentless.
