A traffic accident occurred earlier today (7 February) at about 8.10am on the Central Expressway (CTE) heading towards Tampines Expressway (TPE).
The accident took place at the slip road heading into Seletar West Link, and 9 people were injured in the accident, including the driver and the school children.
They were then conveyed to the hospital.
The SCDF said that two people were sent to the Sengkang General Hospital, with the 7 other injured taken to the KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
According to Shin Min Daily News, an eyewitness said that the bus had skidded on the road before overturning, and the vehicle subsequently then blocked off one of the lanes on the slip road.
The mini schoolbus appeared to be heavily damaged, with the roof and body being deformed and the windshield of the vehicle shasttered.
