Scoot has announced on Facebook that they are resuming flights to Perth, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Nanjing, Taipei, Seoul (via Taipei), Surabaya, Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur, Kuching and Penang in August. And they are steadily resuming more flights in the near future.
Here was what was stated in their Facebook.
“Dear Scoot Community
As we continue to steadily resume more flights and take ongoing measures to respond to the evolving Covid-19 situation, we would like to share some important updates with you.
1) We will be operating flights to 11 cities in August – Perth, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Nanjing, Taipei, Seoul (via Taipei), Surabaya, Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur, Kuching and Penang. The latest flight schedules have been updated on our website.
2) We are working towards gradually reinstating temporarily suspended products and services. ScootPlus will be offered from 1 August 2020, however please note that features like 15kg cabin baggage, choice of meals and beverages and priority check-in and boarding will not yet be available until further notice due to precautionary measures put in place for passenger and crew safety. We understand that there may be some inconvenience to you while some services remain suspended, but rest assured that we are working towards providing them as soon as the situation allows.
3) Scoot’s Covid-19 Travel Waiver Policy has also been extended to flights that were scheduled to depart between 23 January and 30 September 2020 but which were cancelled (booked on or before 15 March 2020), and we will continue to offer a one-time free date change (fare difference may apply) for all bookings made on our website, mobile app or WeChat mini booking site until 30 September 2020.
