The Singapore Democratic Party (SDP)’s Chee Soon Juan recently opened a new cafe at Rochester Mall.

Yesterday (24 June), before the official opening of his cafe today (25 June), he treated the cleaning staff of Rochester Mall to a meal at his new cafe.
He said:
“Hope to do this more often in the future with our elderly workers all over the island. They deserve a nice treat every now and then.”
They were served a mixed platter of mixed dishes.
