The Singapore Police Force conducted a raid on two KTV-esque outlets along Ubi Avenue 4 and Bedok Road that saw 17 men and 9 women between the ages of 23 and 64 being caught.
They are being investigated for breaches of Covid-19 safe management measures.
The first raid took place at an industrial unit along Ubi Avenue 4 on 23 February at about 11.30pm, where officers from Bedok Police Division found 12 men and 6 women allegedly mingling around inside.
Karaoke systems and microphones were purportedly found inside the outlet that had 4 karaoke rooms, and alcohol was allegedly served as well.
The second raid occurred on 24 February at about 1.20am, following a noise complaint, and officers from Bedok Police Division found 4 men and 3 women mingling inside another KTV-like outlet along Bedok Road.
The alleged partygoers also purportedly had access to private rooms, and text messages related to remote gambling were also found in the phones of the 4 men, who will be investigated under the Remote Gambling Act.
