A food delivery rider shared an unsavoury experience, one of many, that he encountered with a security guard at a condominium while delivering his food orders.
Here is the story:
“I would like to share on my experiences on Alexander residences condo. I’m a food panda rider, I was sending food to Alexander residences condo on 17/08 . The security and management treat food delivery like crap.
First of all they only give us 1 slot to park when making delivery to the condo, so they ask us to park outside when we park outside on the pavement or road side they said we can’t park there as if the pavement and road side is theirs , they ask us to park further away from the condo but when we park nearer to the condo on the roadside , they take a picture and report it to LTA .
On the 17/08 they really step over line, I was parking my bike in the lot provided by the condo . When I was parking the bike by reversing the back of my bike into the lot then security guy shouted at me and said I cannot do that and I must park the front of the bike in first .So I ask him why it’s doesn’t make a difference ? The security guy started verbally abusing and shouting even louder and threaten to clamp my bike .
So I didn’t want to argue with him so I just did what he said and make my delivery and quickly left .
This was not the first time he verbally abuse and shout at food delivery rider . There was a instance he shouted at a deliveroo and told him to fk off.
A police report will be made against him. I’m sharing this post to fellow riders to warn them about this security guard and if they can boycott this condo just boycott.”
