SELF ENTITLED MERCEDES DRIVER SEEN THROWING RUBBISH OUT OF CAR ONTO ROAD

A video emerged online showing a Mercedes driver throwing rubbish out of the window and onto the road.

The Merc driver was seen throwing what appears to be food packaging onto the road divider.

The incident happened along Sengkang West Avenue, in front of Seletar Mall on 15 January at about 8.56pm and was captured on the dashcam of a vehicle behind.

Potential penalties

Littering is an offence in Singapore and is defined as dropping, placing or throwing any article or thing in a public place except a rubbish bin.

Persons caught littering face a fine of up to $2,000 for the first offence as well as the possibility of Corrective Work Order.
