Facebook user Chia-Chih Chao recently posted on the Facebook group Complaint Singapore which shows a group of people who allegedly lied to the staff at McDonald’s claiming that they were ordering takeaway before stealing the seats. Many other customers who came before them were still queuing to attain a seat at McDonald’s, but their sly actions were clearly seen by some of the customers.

Last night (Oct 30th) around 7:30pm at Yishun Safra McDonald’s.
There was a long queue due to limited seating for social distancing. There was a nice lady working at the door letting people in after registering for contact tracing. She went through the queue asking if anyone is lining up for take out so they can enter first to order. A group of 4 people who just pulled up on their bikes said that they are getting it to go so they entered.
We waited another 15 minutes before entering. After ordering and sitting down, I noticed the same group of 4 people talking, laughing, eating and almost finishing their meals as my daughter and I sat there still waiting for our food to come. I felt uncomfortable so I walked over and confronted them, “didn’t you say you were getting it to go? You’re taking up other people’s space who waited to sit down.” The lady in the hat replied in full denial, “oh we waited too and then we decided to sit down.” Shame on you!!!!
