A video emerged online showing a fire breaking out, with a Sembcorp rubbish truck seen burning on the road.
However, what’s amusing is that the fire took place at Burn Road, as the garbage truck burned mercilessly at the side of the road.
There doesn’t appear to be anyone inside the burning garbage truck at the time of the incident, although a few people could be seen in the background watching on as the fire burned.
Small remnants of the fire could be seen burning on road beside the truck, along with what appears to be ashes and burned rubbish, presumably from the rubbish inside the rubbish truck.
A Singapore Civil Defence Force )SCDF) fire truck could be seen in the video responding to the fire incident and arriving at the scene, with its alarms and sirens going off.
The sounds of small explosions could be heard going off as the fire raged on, with netizens trying to deduce what is causing the sounds – some have mentioned the possibility of battery cells exploding, while others have said that it could be from disposed firecrackers.
It is unclear when exactly the fire happened or how it started.
