In all times and ages, finding a good boss is like finding a diamond. Most of us are not so lucky and end up with bad bosses and in some cases, old senile ba**tards.
A Malaysian barber who is working in Singapore shared his experience with us saying how he is mistreated despite always finishing his duties, coming to work on time and has never taken any leave or MC. The Malaysian barber said that he works along with other Malaysians and it did not seem like the boss is against foreigners but only picking on him.
He also shared that he would often have to work overtime but he was not compensated for any overtime pay or off days.
The boss would always try to pick on him and shout at him with nonsensical questions.
Boss: eh, have you finish sweeping the floor?
Worker: Yes, boss.
Boss: Why is there a strand of hair on the floor?
Worker:……
Boss: How many strands of hair did you cut today?
Worker: ……….
He gave the above example of how the boss was treating him and said that he has never met a person like this before and felt like he was going through hell and can’t even rest properly on his off days for the continuous blast of text messages.
The boss would often use Hokkien vulgarities to scold him for “non-existent problems” such as “Ni Zai Zuo Se Mo Lan Jiao”.
