According to a media release, a 33-year-old IT technician was convicted for the 6th time after he was caught molesting and insulting a woman’s modesty.
33-year-old Jee Guang You pleaded guilty to his offense, in 2019 he uses his mobile phone and place it under a 39-year-old’s skirt, the following year he molest an 18-year-old who was sleeping on the train.
The prosecutor said that his intention for filming the woman was because he has never done it and wanted to get the thrill out of it. Although he did not take any photos or videos, the security staff who was watching the surveillance witnessed what he had done and reported the incident to the Police.
In March 2020, he molested an 18-year-old who was asleep onboard the MRT train that was bound towards Jurong East.
He said that he was excited when the girl was beside and started to approach her nearer and nearer, he later touches her chest and the victim woke up in shocked. She tried to take a photo of the molester but Jee ran out of Jurong East MRT station.
He was sentenced to 19 months jail.
