A Facebook user recently overheard a conversation between a couple in school and decided to share it online to get comments from fellow netizens to see who was in the right and wrong in this “sticky” situation. The boy gave his handphone number to a fellow university student as the female student borrowed his charger in front of his girlfriend. The female student only wanted his number as she wanted to give him a call once she was done charging her phone so as to return the charger.

“Just to share an amusing (or is it) story.
I was studying somewhere around school. There was a couple studying at a nearby table. Let’s call them Girl A and Guy A.
Both of them were studying happily and romantically.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, a young girl with long dyed brown hair, in her late teens/ early twenties, in mini pants, let’s call her Girl B, appeared beside Guy A.
Girl B: “Hey! Can I borrow your Iphone charger? My phone ran out of battery but I forgot to bring my charger.”
*Girl A looked*
*Guy A gave Girl B his Iphone charger.*
Girl B pointed at somewhere some distance away and said to Guy A: “I’m sitting there.”
Guy A nodded his head.
Girl B handed out her phone to Guy A: “Can give me your number? I contact you after I finish charging, or you can contact me if you need also.”
*Guy A took over Girl B’s phone and typed his number. *
*Girl A looked*
*Guy A finished typing his number and handed the phone back to Girl B.
*Girl B, cheerfully: “Okay! Thank you!”
*Guy A smiled.*
*Girl B disappeared bubbly.*
*Guy A turned back to studying for 3 seconds.*
*Girl A looked.*
*Guy A sensed something not right and turned to look at Girl A. That’s when he knew it hit the fan*
Girl A: “How can you give her your number.”
Guy A: ” I #@$%^%$&^$&^&$@…… “
Girl A: “How can you give her your number like that.”
Guy A: “She just …@#$@#… she came to borrow charger @@$#@!$@Q#%…. just borrow charger only… so I just gave @#$@#@ ….”
Girl A: “Oiiii, if she comes…..@@$$@$%#@%#…. you …!@$#$@#$@#$%….” “Oiiiiii!…….Oiiiii!…….”
*Girl A got angry and turned away from Guy A*
Guy A apologized profusely and sincerely: “Sorry. I #@@!#@!!$$#$^%^#@!….”
***I thought it was just a minor grumble of Girl A and she would forgive him.***
But no.*Girl A couldn’t be pacified.*
*Guy A tried to hug and console Girl A.*
*Effort was futile.*
Guy A beged for forgiveness: “ I’m sorry, I won’t do it again. I won’t do this next time. I’m sorry…!@#$$%$#@!@… Please…Please…@##$$@@#$^%“
*Girl A couldn’t be appeased.*
*Guy A looked left looked left didn’t know what to do.*
*Me pretended to hear nothing and know nothing.*
0___0……*Girl A was still angry.*
*Girl A went to the toilet.*
*Guy A followed.*After 2 dozen minutes, Guy A and Girl A came back.
*Girl A wasn’t saying anything anymore but she had clearly not subdued her anger.*
Girl A wasn’t pretending to be angry, she was genuinely angry. It really hit the fan.
*Guy A was like… ⌇●﹏●⌇…For the next few hours till they left together, Girl A had still not recovered from her anger and Guy A was still trying to beg for mercy and forgiveness…
