SG Girl Calls Off Wedding After Uncovering Fiancé’s Cheating Secret Trips To ‘Hougang Block ABC’

S’pore Influencer Calls Off Wedding After Allegedly Uncovering Fiancé’s Secret Trips To ‘Hougang Block ABC’

A 22-year-old Singapore content creator has gone viral after sharing a 50-minute YouTube video detailing why she ended her seven-year relationship and called off her wedding just months before the couple planned to apply for a Build-To-Order (BTO) flat.

Mabel Kee uploaded the video on July 15, alleging that she uncovered evidence suggesting her former fiancé had been dishonest throughout their relationship. Within days, the video amassed hundreds of thousands of views and sparked widespread discussion across social media.

According to Kee, the pair got engaged in October 2025 after dating for seven years. She said she had already planned their wedding, paid deposits to vendors and was preparing to apply for a BTO flat together.

Relationship Began To Deteriorate

Kee said the turning point came after an argument in early May when her fiancé wanted to spend the night clubbing with friends.

Although she initially agreed, she admitted becoming emotional on the day itself and later forwarded a joking message from a friend that read “divorce that red flag” into a private Telegram channel. Her fiancé eventually saw the message.

Following the incident, Kee claimed he became distant and later said he was reconsidering their engagement, describing her as being too emotionally dependent on him.

Wanting to save the relationship, Kee said she apologised, reflected on her behaviour and spent weeks trying to win him back. She prepared handwritten letters, baked his favourite treats, assembled a gift basket and even gave him concert tickets in hopes of repairing their relationship.

Discovery Of A “Pros And Cons” List

Things reportedly took another turn when Kee said she checked her fiancé’s iPad while he was away at his internship.

She allegedly found a photograph of a handwritten “pros and cons” list comparing her with another woman, whom she referred to as “P En”, a classmate from polytechnic.

Kee said she had previously questioned her fiancé after discovering he had spent months speaking to the same classmate on Discord for hours late into the night. At the time, he allegedly insisted the conversations were purely related to school projects.

Although he later admitted he had been “a bit infatuated” with the classmate during a rough patch in their relationship, Kee said he continued denying that anything physical had happened.

‘Hougang Block ABC’ Became The Biggest Clue

Kee said she later examined her fiancé’s Grab ride history and found repeated trips to the same HDB block in Hougang, which she referred to throughout the video as “Hougang Block ABC”.

She alleged the trips stretched back to 2025 and continued even while he claimed to be sick or spending time with friends.

According to Kee, he offered different explanations each time she questioned him, including visiting his grandmother, meeting friends or going for supper.

She also claimed he spent roughly S$400 on Grab rides despite still owing her money related to their wedding expenses.

Friends Helped Piece Together The Timeline

Kee said she and several friends began comparing social media posts and other publicly available information.

They allegedly linked the Hougang address to the classmate after matching Instagram posts, nearby schools and even distinctive wall cracks visible in photographs.

Kee later confronted both her former fiancé and the classmate separately.

According to her account, both denied having a romantic relationship, with the classmate insisting they were not close enough for him to even know her home address.

Despite those denials, Kee said she remained unconvinced after reviewing the timeline of Grab rides alongside messages and other evidence she had collected.

Engagement Ultimately Called Off

Kee said her former fiancé continued denying any cheating allegations and maintained that the relationship ended because he had simply lost feelings for her.

After months of trying to salvage the relationship, she decided to end the engagement.

Following the breakup, Kee said people who knew her former fiancé from school reached out, claiming they had previously seen him spending time with the other woman on campus and believed they were dating.

The allegations have not been independently verified, and Kee’s former fiancé has reportedly continued denying any infidelity.

Wedding Planning Book Now Being Sold

With the wedding cancelled, Kee also announced she is selling a wedding planning guide she had created during the preparation process.

Priced at S$30, the guide includes vendor recommendations, bouquet inspiration and wedding planning timelines.

She said she hopes the months of work she put into planning her wedding can still benefit others despite the relationship coming to an end.
