I just need some opinions on this, I have been with my bf for close to 3 years. He has been really sweet towards me, but now I am having a second thoughts on our relationship. I started working, but he has got a few more years to go (he is 29 currently). On a normal basis, we go dutch, and he doesn’t really shower me with luxurious gifts but it did not really bother me as I understand his current situation.
However, it just occurred to me recently that there are a lot more to take into consideration if we have decided to settle down, eg. bto down payment, loans, weddings, and the subsequent bills. Despite loving him, I need to be practical and plan for my future. I am not looking into a luxurious lifestyle, eg. living in a big house, all I need is just a guy who is financially stable at this age before we even plan to settle down.
On a side note, my younger sister is entering uni next year and I need to help my parents with her school fees (private uni). The question is, should I hold on to this relationship and hope that everything will turn out to be better when my bf graduates?
