A Facebook user recently shared her views on getting monthly presents from her boyfriend. She was quite pissed as her boyfriend purchased couple rings for themselves from Couple Lab. She also stated that she deserved monthly presents so as to make a girl feel special as she has to endure menstrual cramps every month.

My boyfriend bought couple rings for us, as our 3rd monthniversay present. But you wanna guess where he got them from? Couple lab!! Horror of horrors. Who wear rings from couple lab nowadays? Maybe cheap skate teenagers? If you wanna buy ring for your other half, then show some sincerity at least love & co or swarowski.
No way I’m wearing that. Told him he has to get something else. To me monthniversay presents are really important to make a girl feel special. Whats more, we endure menstrual cramps every month but guys don’t. As a guy its only right you buy something decent every month to pamper your girlfriend and help her feel better. It doesn’t need to always be presents. A staycation or spa is also acceptable.
What is not acceptable is buying presents or celebrating for her only once a year aka anniversary. You mean you only appreciate your girlfriend once a year?
