A 46-year-old man is assisting with police investigations after an accident involving two cars along East Coast Road in the early hours of Oct 25, 2026.
Videos of the incident circulated online after being shared in the sgfollowsall Telegram group and on the ROADS.sg Facebook page. The footage appeared to show a heated exchange between the man, believed to be one of the drivers involved, and another individual recording the incident.
The police said they were alerted to the accident at around 1am. No injuries were reported, and investigations are ongoing.
Video Shows Heated Exchange Between Two Men
In the circulating footage, a man wearing a red shirt can be heard arguing with the person behind the camera.
The person recording repeatedly told the driver to “shut up”, sit down and keep his distance. He also alleged that the driver had crashed into a parked car further down the road and nearly hit him while he was on the pavement.
At one point, the person recording claimed that he had rushed over to stop the driver and dragged him out of his vehicle.
The exchange grew increasingly tense, with the two men continuing to argue at the scene.
White Car Seen With Damaged Front Bumper
Images shared alongside the video showed a white car parked by the roadside with visible damage to its front bumper and part of its wheel area.
A section of the damaged vehicle appeared to protrude from the car, although the exact circumstances leading to the collision were not established in the footage.
The person recording initially said he thought the driver might have been drunk, but later claimed that the man was holding a vape. These were allegations made by the individual in the video and have not been independently established.
