In Singapore, many of us often use recycle bags to not only save the environment but avoid the fees of plastic bags.
A woman went to Johor, KSL mall’ Lotus and she was told to store her reusable in the storage area but she refused to and told the security guard that she wishes to see the manager.
She claims that the security guard denied her request and shouted at and told her not to come back.
Here is what she said on Facebook:
I went to JB yesterday and the KSL Lotus security refuse me entry. I brought reusable shopping bags. But he says I hv to check it in and collect after payment. I said its empty. He say cannot. I ask to speak to the Manger. He starts scolding me and shouts that I don’t need to come here and can leave. Hello its normal to bring empty shopping bag.
Here are what netizens think:
- Since it’s their rule, so why not just check in the empty bag?? It’s very difficult to check in, or will it take up too much of your time??? I am sure the time you spent on posting at the social media is more than enough to check in the bag.
- Y go?? Just to save few cents n get insulted? Nothing happens there they lament why no Singaporeans. Got happenings they back to old ways. I couldn’t bother.
