
According to last year’s statistic, households from the bottom 10% of Singapore was hit the hardest by the pandemic. Their monthly income has been dropped by 6.1% on average of their total earnings due to the pandemic. While the top 10% have their earnings dropped by 2.3% on average.

These statistics are obtained by the Department of Statistics for its yearly Key Household Income Trends report.
On average for the whole of Singapore’s household, including citizens and PRs the earning was dropped by 2.5%.
