Meet Joanne – the lady of the house who’s trying to make a small living by baking these delicious macadamia + dark choc chip cookies in order to support her husband who’s suffering from Stage 4 cancer. She hasn’t been able to get hired because of her health condition.
I tasted one today – it’s got crunch and it’s fragrant. I’d even dare say better than Famous Amos cos they are not too sweet and are made of healthy A grade ingredients –
Joanne doesn’t believe in cheaper ingredients even though we told her that her cost is high and she wouldn’t be able to make much per bottle. Nonetheless, she has integrity and she wants to make sure that she is feeding people with good snacks.
Response for her cookies have been overwhelming and she is deeply grateful to all of you who have come forward to help her. As her health is also not very good, cookies are based on self collection at her humble Serangoon Ave 4 home. Money is mainly going towards paying for her husband’s medical bills and cancer meds.
If you would like to help, we are now taking pre-Xmas orders. $12 per bottle and for orders of 10 and above, you can request for a different flavour like Double chocolate chip, or Chocolate chip and hazelnut. However, her original flavour is still the best.
