After a cabin pressure issue was discovered, a Singapore Airlines (SIA) aircraft from London’s Heathrow Airport was diverted to Frankfurt, Germany.
Flight number SQ317 (Airbus A380) was carrying 379 passengers and 27 staff members.
According to an SIA, the aircraft was redirected to Frankfurt after takeoff owing to a mechanical issue.
The jet took off from London at about 7:20 p.m
The detour happened roughly 20 minutes into the trip.

At 8:15 p.m(local time), tweets regarding the jet deviating surfaced online.
The pilots decided to divert to Frankfurt as a precaution after detecting a cabin pressurisation problem, according to SIA.

“SIA sincerely apologises for the inconvenience this has caused. The safety of our customers and crew is always our top priority”. said SIA
At roughly 2 p.m., the plane touched down safely at Frankfurt Airport (Frankfurt time).
According to SIA, it was later grounded for maintenance.
Customers who were affected received assistance with hotel stays and meals.
