Shanghai’s lockdown

The Chinese city announced on 27 March that it will be going through a lockdown in two stages to conduct a Covid-19 testing after a new daily record of infections was recorded in the city.

Authorities ordered residents to remain at home so that testing in the city’s eastern and western district can be conducted on 28 March to 1 April as well as 1 Apr to 5 Apr.

However, another round of testing has just begun as there were more than 20,000 cases reported in China on Wednesday.
