They stole the ATM card which their grandmother placed beside her bed and withdrew $28,600 which was spent on various branded items. The elder sister knew the grandmother’s PIN number which enabled her to gain access to her grandmother’s lifesavings.

The money was used to purchase brand items such as wallets, clothes, shoes, cosmetics and even products such as an Apple iWatch and iPhone. The elder sister even transferred money to her own personal account and some money to her mother as well.

The grandmother then lodged a police report when she realised that her ATM was missing and a portion of a life savings were deducted from her account.

She did not know that it was her grandchildren’s doing at that point of time.
