SIM LIM SQUARE AND JEM MALL AMONG 7 PLACES VISITED BY COVID-19 PATIENTS

According to the Ministry of Health, 7 new public places has been announced visited by infected COVID-19 patients.

  • BHG department store at Lot One Shoppers’ Mall in Chua Chu Kang (03 Jul 20)
  • Sim Lim Square (05 Jul 20)
  • Sheng Siong Supermarket @ Blk 154A Bukit Batok West Ave 8 (08 Jul 20 / 10 Jul 20 / 11 Jul 20)
  • Taman Jurong Shopping Centre (10 Jul 20)
  • The Panggung@ Aroma Kampung (10 Jul 20 )
  • RWS Casino (12 Jul 20)
  • Starbuck and Marché Mövenpick @ Jem Mall (14 Jul 20)

According to the Ministry of Health, those identified as close contact has been notified.

Precautionary measure:

“Persons who had been at these locations during the specified timings should monitor their health closely for 14 days from their date of visit,” it said.

They should see a doctor promptly if they develop symptoms of acute respiratory infection (such as cough, sore throat and runny nose), as well as fever and loss of taste or smell, and inform the doctor of their exposure history.”
