Singaporean billionaire Peter Lim’s daughter from his first marriage, Kim Lim, is divorced (as reported by Icon magazine on August 4).
Kim divorced her husband Kho Bin Kai, this year after 3 years of matrimony.
They got married in a ceremony in 2016, attended by their family. The couple also have a son together, aged 3.
However, their relationship has been “on and off” over the last year, tuning into a “habit” without spark.
Kho has always been a quiet man and Kim revealed that he remained silent even when she brought up divorce.
Kim added: “Instead of forcing ourselves to survive in an unhappy marriage, it’s better to give each other freedom.”
She also added: “We had already separated about a year ago, so this is not a rash decision. Though we cannot be husband and wife, he is still the father of my son and a very good one at that.”
Kim is since living with her father and stepmother Cherie, who is Peter Lim’s current wife.
Kim noted that Kho is quiet while she is loud, he dresses simply while she is fashionble and he doesn’t like social media while she is a social media influencer.
