Singaporean Going Get Sued Because He Threw Maid’s Belongings Away

Got one Singaporean do thing damn sia suay. Got into a scuffle and disagreement with a maid till he touches her personal belongings and throws them out like rubbish. A number of items have gone missing since throwing away the items. Which includes items like ATM card.

An activist group is seeking legal action against this employer and gave the following statement.

Jolovan wrote: “When we called the employer’s husband to ask for compensation, he brushed us off. He has cancelled her work permit and wants to send her home quickly. But the worker is not going to allow that and neither are we! We are going to take legal action against them. Don’t think you can bully migrant domestic workers so easily!”
