A 32-year-old Singaporean man is currently the subject of a manhunt in Bangkok after his girlfriend, 30-year-old Prao-Pilas, was discovered dead in a hotel room on March 26. According to reports from Thai media outlet Khaosod, Prao-Pilas’s body was found wrapped in a blanket and a bedsheet, and she was unclothed. Investigators noted visible wounds and blood on her head, indicating a violent incident. Additionally, her branded handbag and watch were reported missing from the hotel room, further complicating the case.
Friends of Prao-Pilas became alarmed when they were unable to reach her since the evening of March 24. Concerned for her safety, they filed a police report, leading authorities to the hotel where her body was found. Upon arrival, police discovered the hotel room door unlocked, the air-conditioning running, and Prao-Pilas’s body located in the bathroom.
One of her friends disclosed that Prao-Pilas had been in a relationship with a Singaporean man named Daniel.
