SPCA SEEKING TO IDENTIFY MAN WHO HIT AND KICKED CHICKENS @ HOUGANG

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) issued a public appeal for information about a man who was seen in a viral video hitting and kicking chickens at Hougang Avenue 3.

Here is what they said

A video involving a case of a man repeatedly kicking and hitting chickens has been circulating.

The SPCA is seeking the identity of the person in the video to assist with investigations. The incident occurred at Hougang Ave 3, at the carpark near the Community Centre.

Anyone with credible information in relation to this case can call our 24/7 hotline at 6287 5355 (ext. 9) or e-mail [email protected]. Information provided will be treated in the strictest of confidence.

Under the Animals and Birds Act, anyone who is found guilty of cruelty to animals can be imprisoned for up to 18 months, fined up to $15,000, or both.
