The Singapore Police Force (SPF) has released a final update about the tremors felt earlier in the morning today (25 Feb) across many places in Singapore.
The tremors occurred due to a magnitude 6.0 earthquake which happened in Northern Sumatra.
In the update by the SPF, they mentioned that at about 5.22pm today, inspection works to the structural safety of buildings in Singapore were completed by engineers sent by the authorities such as the Housing Development Board (HDB) and the Building Construction Authority (BCA).
The inspections were done on 42 buildings affected by the tremors.
It has also been confirmed by the HDB and the BCA that the structural integrity of the affected buildings were not affected by the tremors earlier in the morning.

“[FINAL UPDATE] ADVISORY ON TREMORS REPORTED IN SINGAPORE
At about 5.22pm on 25 February 2022, engineers from the HDB and BCA completed the inspection on the structural safety of 42 buildings affected by the tremors caused by the earthquake in Northern Sumatra.
They have confirmed that the structural integrity of all the buildings have not been affected by the tremors.”
