S’PORE BACK TO DORSCON YELLOW, ALL GROUP-SIZE LIMITS REMOVED FROM 26 APRIL

All workers can also return to the office from 26 April, instead of the current limit of 75% of the staff.

The Disease Outbreak Response System Condition (DORSCON) level is also going to be readjusted to yellow from orange on 26 April.

The DORSCON level was raised to Orange back in 2020 to reflect the severity of the situation during the early onset of the pandemic.

Minister of trade and industry, Gan Kim Yong, spoke at the press conference, saying:

“Under DORSCON Yellow, each of us must continue to comply with the safe management measures and exercise social responsibility.”

“This means that if you are unwell, we should really stay home. We must also maintain good personal hygiene and adhere to health advisories.”

The limit on the number of household visitors will also be lifted from 26 April, along with the capacity limit of 75% for mask on events with more than 1,000 people.

However, the wearing of masks will continue to be required indoors, including on public transport, but will remain optional outdoors.

Employees will also be allowed to remove their masks when not interacting with others physically and in non-customer-facing places.
